Key Requirements

  • •Experience applying novel techniques in vector similarity for a search platform with a large user base or academic research in vector similarity information retrieval.
  • •Professional experience with search or vector databases and the use of algorithms/libraries such as HNSW and IVF for search at scale.
  • •Strong core Java skills, including the standard library of data structures and concurrency constructs.
  • •Ability to take on projects end-to-end with high autonomy, covering technical design and collaboration with other engineers.
  • •Experience with data storage technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
