Key Responsibilities

  • •Validate reports, dashboards, and aggregated metrics before they reach customers.
  • •Reconcile reporting data against upstream APIs and raw source data, and independently verify calculations.
  • •Design and implement automated data quality checks (e.g., Soda) and validate freshness, volume, distribution, and business expectations.
  • •Test Airflow DAGs and Databricks jobs, validating scheduling, dependencies, backfills, failure recovery, and data integrity.
  • •Develop and run automated/manual tests for REST and GraphQL APIs, and document investigations, defects, and results while collaborating with engineering, product, and analytics teams.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of QA experience.
  • •Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently write complex queries.
  • •Experience validating data against an upstream source of truth and investigating reporting/data discrepancies.
  • •Comfortable working with raw API payloads.
  • •2+ years of automation experience, including testing REST APIs and experience with Playwright (or Selenium/Cypress with willingness to transition).
