Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage customer research relationships and guide, conduct, and support research and clinical collaborations for Philips MRI systems at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center
  • •Be an expert MRI specialist for an assigned technical or clinical application area, build a scientific network and report on new insights and technologies within MR BU
  • •Drive clinical co-creation projects at designated sites to generate transfers of ideas, prototypes, solutions, and IP for product development and generate evidence via publications
  • •Hands-on with Philips MR scanners; independently run scanners and guide users on capabilities and development tools
  • •Increase visibility of the MR program through lectures and conference presentations and involvement in professional organizations

Key Requirements

  • •Ph.D. (Required) in Physics, chemistry, biomedical engineering, or related disciplines
  • •Minimum of 3 years post-PhD experience focused on MR Physics, MR/Clinical Imaging and Pulse Sequence and Reconstruction Programming; AI experience highly desired
  • •Detailed experience in development and advanced applications for MR Imaging systems in a clinical setting
  • •Independent problem solver with strong analytical/experimental skills and ability to conduct research/set up studies
  • •Excellent communication, teaching, and presentation skills with experience engaging customers, market colleagues, and internal stakeholders
