Job Summary

Build and operate scalable Identity & Access Management (IAM) services for Salesforce’s Enterprise Security Engineering team. You’ll design IAM platform and full-stack capabilities for identity lifecycle, access requests, entitlement/role management, and Privileged Access Management (PAM), including just-in-time flows. Work with REST/APIs, integrations across identity sources, and DevOps/CI-CD practices on AWS/Azure/GCP using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform—while embedding security controls and AI-first development practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and operate scalable IAM services and APIs spanning identity lifecycle, access requests, entitlements/roles, and access certifications.
•Build PAM capabilities including credential vaulting/rotation, session control, secrets management, and just-in-time elevated, time-bound entitlements.
•Model and secure non-human identities (service accounts, agents, workloads, machine credentials) including issuance, rotation, and lifecycle governance.
•Develop full-stack IAM features and backend services, including user-facing experiences for secure self-service and administrative access.
•Build and manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform, and operate services with a full DevOps model including monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of professional software development experience building distributed systems in SaaS/PaaS/IaaS environments.
•Full-stack proficiency with strong backend skills in Java, Go, and/or Python and front-end experience with modern frameworks like React.
•Strong IAM domain knowledge including identity governance/lifecycle, authentication/authorization, RBAC/entitlements, PAM (including just-in-time access), and protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and LDAP.
•Experience designing and consuming REST APIs (JSON/XML, OpenAPI/Swagger) and integrating heterogeneous systems.
•Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) plus containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
