Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement a comprehensive school counseling program to guide students’ academic success, social and emotional development, and career/college planning.
  • •Meet quarterly with students on caseload to review graduation plans and post-secondary options, and support course placement including Advanced Placement (AP) recommendations.
  • •Deliver classroom instruction based on student success standards and review transcripts and academic documentation for new and returning students.
  • •Analyze student data to develop data-driven intervention action plans; provide short-term counseling and referrals for long-term support.
  • •Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop four-year graduation plans, audit schedules for graduation readiness, and support standardized testing, parent education, and staff development.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree, three (3) years of experience in counseling and/or advisement, and an Oklahoma school counselor license.
  • •Master’s degree in school counseling.
  • •Must reside in Oklahoma (remote role); may consider candidates within 50 miles of the Oklahoma border residing in Texas.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, web-based search engines, and database systems.
  • •Ability to clear required background check and travel as needed.
