Key Responsibilities

  • •Secure and scale the Sovereign Cloud Shared Management Services (SMS) platform by owning reliability and operational excellence for production and non-production environments.
  • •Lead standards and best practices across areas such as code reviews, AI security practices, unit and functional test coverage, and incident response workflows.
  • •Treat security as a first-class reliability concern by hardening identity/access management, secrets management, and supply chain integrity.
  • •Identify and close mission-critical capability gaps; define disciplined, standardized operational processes and improve backup and disaster recovery drills.
  • •Collaborate with Sovereign Cloud operations/engineering, regional counterparts, and hyperscaler provider partners to navigate trade-offs and ensure continuous improvement.

Salary: USD 176,300 - 374,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of DevOps and/or SRE engineering experience, including deep mastery of SRE principles for globally distributed, mission-critical platforms.
  • •7+ years leading engineering projects and cross-functional program teams with experience owning end-to-end implementation initiatives.
  • •Advanced proficiency with Linux/Unix administration, networking fundamentals, and operating large-scale distributed cloud environments.
  • •Advanced experience with IaC, scripting, and automation such as Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python, Powershell, and CI/CD.
  • •Advanced monitoring/observability experience, including architectures with tools such as Grafana and Prometheus, plus security fundamentals/background in security-adjacent roles.
