Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee technical aspects from proposal award through system acceptance for assigned radio network projects.
  • •Perform final design and implementation covering infrastructure, subscribers, power systems, equipment shelter/tower layouts, and backhaul (microwave/leased line/Ethernet).
  • •Develop acceptance test plans and conduct functional acceptance testing, including radio coverage testing and interference mitigation.
  • •Provide inputs for system staging, licensing (FCC/Industry Canada/NTIA), and prepare fleetmap, encryption, and radio programming templates.
  • •Create as-built documentation and participate in live system cutovers and upgrades.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of systems engineering or wireless communications experience.
  • •Experience in radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless or broadband/LTE networks.
  • •Working knowledge of IP networking and network design/troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS).
  • •Possession or ability to pursue certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, CCNA, or similar.
  • •Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
