Key Responsibilities

  • •Communicate effectively across management levels, including customers and vendors, using verbal and written paperwork.
  • •Accurately record operational data to ensure precision across all processes.
  • •Keep micro bins full by carrying bags, unloading ingredients into the micro system, and unloading trucks as needed.
  • •Operate batching, pelleting, and grinding equipment, including unchoking mills during plugged situations.
  • •Obtain and run quality analysis on incoming ingredients and maintain housekeeping/cleanliness, including mill floor and micro bin tops.

Key Requirements

  • •Be willing and able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs and up to 100 lbs with assistance, and sustaining activity throughout the day.
  • •Lift and use hand tools to assist with unloading ingredients and perform minor maintenance duties, including climbing 157 feet when the elevator is out.
  • •Operate and manage computerized pelleting and batching systems and follow run schedules for batching, pelleting, and routing finished feed.
  • •Obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients and maintain required cleanliness, including keeping the mill floor and micro bin tops clean.
  • •Follow safety and biosecurity guidelines, including health and safety protocols and adherence to company biosecurity guidelines.
