Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Identity International)

Own backend systems for the Identity team that power customer identity checks across markets outside North America. Work with a distributed group of engineers to translate ambiguous business needs into reliable solutions, set quarterly technical direction, and address cross-cutting risks and tradeoffs. Drive quality improvements (code review standards, performance/availability/scale), monitor operational metrics, support on-call, mentor engineers, and partner with product, design, and analytics to influence technical plans.
