Job Summary

Act as the key technical enabler for a China-based team managing and evolving CDMS-related services. Drive technology decisions to improve the customer journey and user experience by translating business requirements into detailed designs and scalable Java/Spring applications. Lead architecture and solution design, enforce secure coding and quality gates, coach developers, and ensure robust production support with incident/problem resolution within SLAs. Partner with DevOps to improve CI/CD, observability, and reliability, and support AI-enabled engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the key technical enabler for China-based teams managing and evolving CDMS-related services.
•Translate business/functional requirements into detailed technical designs and scalable applications for customer journey initiatives.
•Lead architecture and solution design using Java/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud best practices, including enforcing secure coding and quality gates.
•Provide production support and manage incident/problem resolution within agreed SLAs, driving root-cause fixes and preventive actions.
•Partner with DevOps to improve CI/CD, release reliability, observability, and operational excellence, while coaching developers and supporting strategic technology initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
•10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong track record as a Senior Java Developer / Tech Lead.
•Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring (including Spring Boot), J2EE, and SQL; familiarity with Spring Cloud and microservices architecture.
•Strong RESTful API design/development experience, including REST and WebSocket knowledge.
•Practical experience with databases (relational and NoSQL such as MongoDB/Redis) plus event-driven architecture (Kafka) and containerization/orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
