Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, write, and maintain high-quality developer documentation (getting-started guides, how-tos, conceptual explanations, and release notes).
  • •Author and review content in a docs-as-code workflow: write in Markdown, submit PRs, review diffs, and run docs through the CI pipeline.
  • •Collaborate with engineers and PMs to document new features accurately using specs, early builds, and code review comments.
  • •Verify and maintain code samples in relevant integration languages so they compile, run, and stay current with product changes.
  • •Audit and improve existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, structure, and voice; help evolve the team’s style guide and information architecture.

  • •Proven experience creating technical content for developer audiences, with portfolio/examples.
  • •Fluency in a docs-as-code workflow using Markdown (or similar) and Git (branching, PRs, rebasing) as a first-class repo collaborator.
  • •Strong software development or DevOps background with proficiency in some programming languages.
  • •Comfort using AI tools to augment drafting and auditing, with a clear-eyed approach to validating AI-generated content.
  • •Ability to structure documentation effectively (tutorial vs. how-to vs. reference vs. concept) and to work cross-functionally with engineering and product to ship docs alongside features.
