Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical and strategic asset management support to maintenance and operations teams across mine physical assets.
  • •Collaborate with maintenance engineering staff to identify equipment failure root causes and help eliminate/control them.
  • •Conduct engineering analyses and computer-related tasks such as drawings, spreadsheets, and database compilations.
  • •Perform power demand and operational duty-cycle calculations and specify/order equipment for current load and future expansion.
  • •Oversee design consultant activities and manage electrical projects through construction and commissioning, including E-TAP model management and updates to one-line drawings/prints.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field with 2-3 years in a similar role, or a relevant Trade/Journeyman’s certificate with 3-5 years.
  • •Experience in mining industry preferred, including knowledge of surface, underground, and concentrator operations.
  • •Computer-literate and proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • •Experience with computerized maintenance management systems required.
  • •Proficient in AutoCAD.
