Job Summary

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to restaurant guests with a cheerful, efficient, professional approach. Welcome and interact with guests, build repeat business, complete pour tests, suggestively sell menu items, and prepare drinks to standard recipes and venue specs. Handle IDs and refuse alcohol to intoxicated guests, maintain safety/sanitation, and complete opening/running/closing duties including POS checkouts and cash procedures, occasionally supporting special events.

Key Responsibilities

•Interact with guests in a friendly demeanor and cultivate regular guests for repeat business.
•Complete pour tests prior to shifts (where applicable) and prepare beverages per standard recipes and venue specifications.
•Suggestively sell beverages and menu items at the bar, and deliver food and beverage orders promptly.
•Maintain bar safety and sanitation standards, record equipment failures/safety hazards, and refuse service to intoxicated guests while notifying a manager.
•Perform opening/running/closing duties, prepare guest checks on the POS terminal, process payments, and complete cash pull/check out procedures; occasionally work special events.

Key Requirements

•Ability to work late hours and maintain a flexible schedule.
•Cash handling experience.
•Lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
•Physically able to pass a pour test and a mixology drill (timed).
•Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent.
