Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide nursing care to assigned patients and families in an effective and safe manner under the guidance of a preceptor or designated RN.
  • •Identify patient care outcomes and assure quality by measuring health outcomes against goals and standards, making or recommending adjustments as needed.
  • •Perform basic and ongoing patient assessments to determine normal vs. abnormal characteristics and monitor signs, symptoms, and reactions to treatments.
  • •Plan and implement patient care, including reporting, referrals, emergency procedures when indicated, and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • •Provide direct and indirect care services, including medication administration, skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and initiation of peripheral venous access.

Key Requirements

  • •Provide nursing care within the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) nursing competency framework and scope of practice.
  • •Minimum 3 years of nursing job experience.
  • •Perform patient assessment and monitoring to identify normal vs. abnormal signs, symptoms, and reactions.
  • •Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process, including administering medications and therapeutic agents.
  • •ERP knowledge with preferred SAP functional skills to be successful in the role.
