Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct all phases of project management from initiation through closeout, focusing on scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
  • •Develop new project engagements with BU partners using the Variable Project Management (VPM) model across initiation, planning/funding, and execution.
  • •Ensure corporate governance policies and procedures are understood and followed within the project delivery organization.
  • •Oversee contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout for RTX and client/vendor/supplier agreements.
  • •Provide leadership and management to the department and staff, including supervision of internal/external project management resources and mentoring a high-performance team.

Key Requirements

  • •14+ years of construction and/or real estate development experience with a bachelor’s degree in a STEM or operations/business-related field (or equivalent).
  • •14+ years managing large-scale facilities or real estate development and construction programs/projects across all project phases.
  • •10+ years of project financial terminology and ability to analyze complex business/financial data to develop solutions.
  • •10+ years identifying complex project risks, leading constructability reviews, and implementing mitigation/contingency plans.
  • •Strong technical aptitude using MS Office tools including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
