Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and execute a 5-year obsolescence and automation/network infrastructure upgrade plan.
  • •Own engineering projects across 2 sites for bottling/shipping/processing and support daily PLC/HMI operations to maximize efficiency and reliability.
  • •Provide troubleshooting and development support, including 24/7 on-call escalations, and conduct root-cause analysis for electrical/controls/programming issues.
  • •Select, integrate, start up, and calibrate controls instrumentation (e.g., variable frequency drives, valves, motors, flow meters) and ensure proper operation of electrical/control components.
  • •Assist with management and storage of controls-related software and hardware in accordance with good manufacturing practices, and mentor other technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology, or related discipline and 5+ years of electrical/electronic and/or instrument & control programming/troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Comfort assembling/wiring and configuring Rockwell PLCs, dual-channel safety circuits and components, HMIs, and variable frequency drives (or similar).
  • •Experience with FactoryTalk Batch (or similar systems).
  • •Strong understanding of Ethernet/IP technology and working knowledge of NEC and NEMA/IP standards.
  • •Ability to read electrical/maintenance schematics/blueprints and support a continuously running operation; experience with plant conveying technologies and industrial instrumentation is preferred.
