Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely and follow all health and safety procedures.
  • •Inspect and maintain production equipment per a scheduled maintenance program (cleaning, lubrication, adjustments).
  • •Analyze, identify, and repair equipment breakdowns; replace defective parts to ensure proper performance.
  • •Recommend equipment and tools to improve productivity and participate in installation/commissioning of new equipment.
  • •Maintain building systems (e.g., HVAC filters), perform utility system inspection rounds, maintain forklifts, perform welding, and support production operators as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Vocational diploma (DEP) in electromechanics.
  • •5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • •Practical welding experience.
  • •Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and automation.
  • •Knowledge of a preventive maintenance program is an asset; forklift operator certification is an asset.
