Job Summary

Experienced Oracle ERP General Ledger Product Owner to drive vision, strategy and continuous improvement of our GL platform (EBS & Cloud). Liaises between Finance business teams and IT to optimize GL processes, manage the backlog, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver integrated Oracle solutions with a standard-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and evolve the product vision and multi-year roadmap for the Oracle General Ledger module, translating complex finance strategies into Epics, user stories and measurable acceptance criteria
•Champion a standard-first approach to Oracle capabilities, advocating for out-of-the-box functionalities and minimizing heavy customizations
•Groom and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical debt and regulatory compliance
•Collaborate with Finance stakeholders (EMEA) and IT teams, documenting needs using JIRA and Confluence and ensuring reporting, reconciliation and compliance requirements are prioritized
•Provide expert guidance on standard accounting processes within Oracle, including journal entries, allocations, currency translations and period-end close procedures

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience
•Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus
•Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS (R12) GL modules, intercompany reconciliations, Chart of Accounts and financial reporting
•Strong understanding of how Oracle ERP modules interact (AP/AR/Fixed Assets) and their linkage to finance processes in investment banking
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate financial requirements into technical specifications
