Key Responsibilities

  • •Broker/place Clinical Trials Liability primarily, plus Products Liability, Errors & Omissions Liability, and Excess Liability coverage, from market selection through long-term servicing.
  • •Demonstrate effective negotiation skills on behalf of clients and prospects and ensure placements are handled timely and correctly.
  • •Develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and Aon local office teams.
  • •Identify and analyze prospect and client exposures and coordinate activities with internal units to meet customer needs.
  • •Create presentations such as renewal strategies and coverage proposals, and plan/schedule/resourcing for complex projects/programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 7+ years of insurance brokerage and/or underwriting experience (preferred Life Sciences in Clinical Trials Liability and/or Casualty Line).
  • •Effective working knowledge of carrier underwriting practices and processes.
  • •Proven client-facing skills, including effective presentations and communications.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at various levels in the organization.
  • •Maintain appropriate broker’s and Surplus Lines licenses (a Property and Casualty Brokers License is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
