Key Responsibilities

  • •Support environmental site assessments and monitoring programs using basic scientific principles, established methods, and standard operating procedures.
  • •Conduct groundwater monitoring and sampling, including purging and collecting samples from monitoring wells with low-flow sampling equipment and field instrumentation.
  • •Collect, record, and organize environmental field data and observations according to procedures and project requirements.
  • •Assist with drilling oversight and drilling-related activities, including subcontractor oversight, soil logging and sampling, and monitoring well installation.
  • •Contribute to health and safety planning in the field and help compile, enter, and analyze field and laboratory data under senior staff direction.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Willingness and ability to perform extensive fieldwork outdoors in varied weather and travel within Ontario to project sites.
  • •Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate field documentation.
  • •Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Valid and unrestricted Driver’s License to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
