Key Responsibilities

•Design and production of Management Information (reports, dashboards, and commentary) to support 1LoD risk management and governance.
•Analyse Non-Financial Risk data (KRI, KCI, control assurance results, operational risk events) to identify trends and areas of concern.
•Develop tactical and strategic data and reporting tools, promoting automation to enhance the 1LoD’s capability to manage NFR.
•Support and facilitate implementation of the strategic GRC tool, ensuring data attributes and linkages enable appropriate risk and control insights.
•Collaborate with reporting and analytics teams across SMBC EMEA to share best practices and minimize duplication; assist 1LoD Business Control Officers in fulfilling responsibilities.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience in designing and producing Management Information (reports and dashboards) and presenting complex information in an easily understood way.
•Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
•Basic knowledge of Commercial and Investment Banking products and services; familiarity with Risk Management frameworks (especially Non-Financial Risks) and 1LoD governance of risks and controls.

•Experience promoting self-service reporting, reducing cost to produce reports, and improving usability and timeliness of management information.
