Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate wood preserving treating equipment safely and efficiently to treat materials to specifications.
  • •Transfer material into the treating cylinder (loading/unloading) and prepare for the daily treating schedule.
  • •Complete pre-shift/startup equipment checklists and report any issues.
  • •Perform general preventive maintenance on treating equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • •Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to policy, including testing wood fiber and solutions to meet requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
  • •Experience: minimum 3 months (preferred 6 months) in related areas.
  • •Working knowledge of hazardous material handling and hazardous waste procedures.
  • •Complete State Licensing requirements.
  • •Successfully complete the Forklift Driver licensing process and be at least 18 years of age.
