Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain open source integrations between ML/AI software and AMD hardware.
  • •Optimize kernels and critical execution paths for AMD GPUs.
  • •Profile workloads, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement measurable optimizations.
  • •Develop and optimize kernel fusions and GPU execution pipelines, including adapting across kernel languages and environments.
  • •Contribute upstream with high-quality code and comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests; participate in code reviews and resolve correctness/performance issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 178,500 - 306,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Strong familiarity with LLM systems, inference workloads, compute, and optimization.
  • •Experience optimizing GPU kernels, particularly for AMD architectures.
  • •Ability to work across ML frameworks and low-level GPU kernels, adapting across languages and programming models.
  • •Strong understanding of kernel fusion, GPU execution, and pipelined execution, including performance tradeoffs across compute and memory bandwidth.
