Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, install, update, and secure operating systems and applications in the virtual infrastructure using VMware vCenter, VMware Horizon View, and VMware ESXi.
  • •Ensure STIG compliance, manage DoD PKI requirements, and integrate systems into the Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) architecture.
  • •Monitor security and performance logs, manage ServiceNow tickets, and provide expert recommendations during technical meetings.
  • •Perform backup and restoration activities; support command exercises and inspections; manage VOE Continuity of Operations (COOP).
  • •Create, maintain, and update VOE Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and provide monthly status reports on accomplishments and issues requiring government action.

Key Requirements

  • •Active TS/SCI clearance and Intermediate Proficiency level IAW DoDM 8410.03.
  • •Hold one of the 8570 IAT-II certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP.
  • •At least three years of experience managing and supporting VMware vCenter and Horizon View environments.
  • •At least two years of experience managing Cisco UCS in a DoD environment.
  • •Experience managing VMware NSX, Rubrik and Cohesity, and related VMware/DoD virtualization components.
