Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow and support safety, GMP, and ISO policies and maintain a safe work environment.
  • •Pack products to quality standards by verifying correct boxes, labels, quantities, and product placement.
  • •Perform required quality checks and report bad quality product to the Section Lead.
  • •Operate packing equipment and tools including tapers, box erectors, label applicators, bin lift, winders, and J-Knife as required.
  • •Set up packaging line items, read “Traveler” BOM/special instructions, and maintain good housekeeping while working on assigned lines.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • •Experience in a team-work oriented environment is a plus.
  • •Working knowledge of extrusion/converting equipment and process is desired.
  • •Ability to use and read a ruler and to read/understand a traveler.
  • •Basic PC knowledge and ability to document quality and weight on bag check sheets.
