Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the full technology and security remit with single accountability across enterprise infrastructure, security, identity, applications, and workplace technology.
  • •Lead and grow IT & Security Operations, Cloud Platform Engineering, and GRC; coach existing leaders, set the technical bar, and build the team beneath you while staying lean.
  • •Mature security operations by building detection, analytics, orchestration, and response capabilities; drive investment into Google SecOps and n8n automation.
  • •Own identity end to end, including IAM across GCP estate and identity governance/administration for the global workforce.
  • •Own network and cloud perimeter (including ZTNA) and end user compute globally, while also communicating at executive level with leadership, steering committee, and the board.

Key Requirements

  • •Have built and operated technology at scale with security layered over it as a core accountability.
  • •Run an infrastructure or substantial operations function (data centre or similar), with strong architecture instincts.
  • •Process discipline from high-consequence environments, with the ability to defend, operate, and structure systems.
  • •Ability to do a lot with a little—build and scale capability with automation before headcount.
  • •Own compliance as the accountable leader (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent), through audit—not only policy creation.
