Key Responsibilities

  • •Take responsibility for data modelling within the risk area.
  • •Capture and interpret business and regulatory requirements driven by major initiatives.
  • •Develop business information and logical data models aligned to business needs and integrated with business and application architectures, including metadata capture, consistency, lineage, and traceability.
  • •Support common business terminology and data definitions to improve consistency across stakeholders, processes, and reporting.
  • •Ensure compliance with BCBS 239, Basel/CRR, IFRS, and other applicable regulatory requirements and alignment with domain architecture.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional background in risk management within banking or financial services (e.g., credit, market, counterparty, or liquidity risk).
  • •Experience with business information models and data definition/data mapping/data flows to structure and govern business-critical data.
  • •Strong understanding of how data is managed and consumed across organisations, including reporting, analytics, regulatory processes, and modern data management practices.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory and data management requirements within Finance and Risk, and how data supports compliance, reporting, and decision-making.
  • •Ability to translate complex requirements into clear information structures, with strong problem-solving and critical thinking, plus effective collaboration and communication.
