Job Summary

Equipment Technician to support Dyson Singapore’s automated Advanced Manufacturing lines. Responsible for minimizing downtime, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, documenting line stoppages, and collaborating with engineers on continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Minimize equipment downtime and ensure production meets target output and yield.
•Execute preventive maintenance and provide production line support.
•Provide first level troubleshooting and resolve production stoppages due to equipment issues.
•Document and report all line stoppages due to equipment or technical issues.
•Participate in line set-up activities and collaborate with engineers on continuous improvement projects.

Key Requirements

•At least 3 years of work experience in an automated line environment, ITC or Diploma in Mechatronic/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering – minimum requirement
•Experience in servo motors and intelligent PCs is an added advantage
•Ability to distinguish between coloured wires, signals, indicators, or labels, which is required and critical for safe performance of duties
•Flexibility and initiative; ability to pre-empt problems and seize opportunities without waiting to be told
•Willing to work shifts and overtime; passion for solving and resolving issues
