Job Summary

Become a Retail Personal Banker I through a 4–8 week onboarding program with rotations across operations and Sales & Service, ending with a certification. Use a consultative sales approach and Financial Needs Assessments to build customer profiles, cross-sell retail and small business solutions, and set appointments using CAMP and approved marketing tools. Partner with mortgage and business teams, support CSR referrals, and meet customer experience and production goals while following risk and ethics policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend appropriate solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and conduct outside sales activities, including community financial literacy events and business sales calls.
•Establish relationships with assigned business partners (mortgage, small business, commercial, investment) and refer customers for timely, holistic solutions.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Required to obtain S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
