Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide estimate and cost planning, including producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • •Estimate at conceptual, programming, and detailed levels and support feasibility studies with procurement reports.
  • •Manage procurement activities: pre-qualification, producing bid lists, bid analysis, bid reports, and compiling contractual documents.
  • •Support post-contract cost variances and change control processes; refer major changes to the line manager.
  • •Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and provide value engineering input, negotiate/approve final accounts, and maintain client/consultant liaison.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years preparing large-scale CSA cost estimates.
  • •Experience with Civil, Structural and Architectural (“Core and Shell”) estimating and design for large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • •Demonstrated ability to estimate at conceptual, programming, and detailed levels.
  • •Knowledge of construction procurement methods and experience advising clients on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
  • •College degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveyor, or a related technical field.
