Provide expert cardiology care with clinical autonomy—diagnosing and managing complex cardiovascular conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac catheterization) and conduct specialized procedures such as catheterizations, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and electrophysiological studies. Lead daily rounds, supervise Assistant Cardiology Specialists, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while contributing to teaching, research, and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver advanced, evidence-based care for a broad range of cardiac conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmia, and congenital heart disease.
•Assess, diagnose, and manage inpatient and outpatient cardiac patients; lead daily rounds and coordinate holistic patient care with other providers.
•Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and use results to guide treatment plans, including modifying medication regimens as needed.
•Oversee and perform cardiac procedures within privileges and conduct specialized procedures depending on specialization.
•Supervise Assistant Cardiology Specialists and mentor junior medical staff; participate in teaching, research, and continuous professional development while engaging in grand rounds and case discussions.

Key Requirements

•At least 5 years of clinical cardiology experience across inpatient and outpatient cardiac care, including diagnostic procedures and advanced treatments.
•Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and manage cardiac symptoms independently, with escalation to senior consultants when needed.
•High proficiency in diagnostic testing and interpretation, including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterization.
•Ability to perform invasive cardiology procedures within scope of privileges (e.g., catheterizations, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, electrophysiological studies).
•Doctoral degree in a related field; supervision/mentorship of assistant and junior medical staff is expected (1 year GCC experience is preferred).
