Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost strategies, manage vendor prequalification, assess proposals/bids, chair bid interviews, and ensure a reliable supply chain.
  • •Lead estimating services by developing project estimates, reviewing junior work, presenting estimates, and providing value engineering recommendations and risk assessments.
  • •Manage cost reporting and forecasting, including establishing reporting schedules, reviewing budgets/spend forecasts, maintaining a commercial risk register, and coordinating reviews with teams and vendors.
  • •Run cost control by reviewing payment application assessments, liaising with project managers on contractor entitlements, handling change order requests, and supporting dispute prevention/management/resolution.
  • •Oversee invoicing, benchmark performance, manage final accounting and post-contract audits, conduct post-contract lessons learned, and develop procedures for project handover.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 135,000 - 155,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •3–5 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects, ideally in complex/technically advanced facilities.
  • •Strong communication skills and good knowledge of construction technical matters such as procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
