Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow safe operating practices and comply with OSHA/EPA/DOT requirements.
  • •Independently determine parts needed and coordinate with the Shop Parts Department to obtain them.
  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections, including follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair equipment across electrical/brake/cooling systems, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering systems, transmissions, clutches, differentials, and more.
  • •Document work per company standards by completing DOT forms and uploading repair/order details and photos using company devices/apps; assist with estimating approvals as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education/certification and experience.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
  • •Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain within 72 hours of hire.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary for the role.
  • •ASE T8 (PMI) certification (required or obtained within 18 months).
