  • •Conceptualize new projects, prepare project estimates, develop layouts, and create project schedules.
  • •Collaborate through all project phases with cross-functional teams (safety, operations, finance, FSQA, maintenance, engineering, environmental services).
  • •Generate specifications and make data-based decisions to achieve deliverables related to production throughput and product quality/spec adherence.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Engineering or equivalent engineering experience.
  • •5+ years of applicable engineering experience in the food industry; Beef/Pork food processing experience preferred.
  • •Knowledge and use of computer programs, spreadsheets, databases, scheduling, SAP, and project management software; CAD training/experience with 2D/3D drafting software desired.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present difficult concepts clearly to all levels.
  • •Demonstrated ability to work on complex, multi-faceted projects under supervision and assist on time/budget while achieving company objectives.
