Key Responsibilities

  • •Recognize safety hazards and follow safety guidelines to protect self, coworkers, and the public.
  • •Learn and apply environmental rules and regulations to all work situations.
  • •Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for boilers, turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment.
  • •Use test equipment and hand tools to troubleshoot and maintain devices and systems for the power plant.
  • •Complete written/electronic records (work orders, calibration sheets, time cards, and material requests) to document work progress and completion.

Key Requirements

  • •Associates’ Degree (or equivalent) in instrumentation, pneumatics, engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • •Or two (2) years military experience in electronics repair and calibration may substitute for formal training.
  • •Valid driver’s license.
  • •Complete including classroom and on-the-job training.
  • •Ability to read/interpret manuals, blueprints, and control system drawings and apply to daily tasks.
