Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct all activities within the compounding labs, from setup through production and cleaning of equipment and labs.
  • •Supervise compounding technicians and lab assistants and provide direct support/troubleshooting during compound production.
  • •Maintain safety-first compounding practices, including handling hazardous chemicals in accordance with USP and applicable laws.
  • •Ensure daily critical workflows and checks are completed for all compounds produced; maintain study protocols and relevant data for non-sterile compounded products.
  • •Plan, organize, and direct compounding initiatives, including creating project plans, staffing non-sterile labs as needed, and reviewing/revising/creating SOPs and training materials.

Key Requirements

  • •Pharmacy Technician Certification in OH required.
  • •Familiar with USP chapters 795 and 800.
  • •Experience working in a compounding pharmacy required.
  • •Familiarity with Computer Rx pharmacy software.
  • •Ability to teach and train pharmacy staff; highly organized and detail-oriented with clear professional communication.
