Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner cross-functionally with data scientists, software engineers, ML engineers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered customer and business products.
  • •Leverage a broad technology stack (PyTorch, AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, Lightning, vector databases, etc.) to extract insights from large numeric and textual datasets.
  • •Build AI foundation models across design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation phases.
  • •Conduct high-impact applied research to advance state-of-the-art AI into next-generation customer experiences.
  • •Translate research complexity into tangible business goals for stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 286,400 - 326,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •PhD (or in-process PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or related fields; or MS plus 2 years applied research and 4 years applied research experience.
  • •Hands-on experience developing AI foundation models and solutions using open-source tools and cloud computing platforms.
  • •Deep understanding of AI methodology foundations and experience building large deep learning models across modalities (language, images, events, graphs).
  • •Experience with one or more areas such as training optimization, self-supervised learning, robustness, explainability, or RLHF.
  • •Track record delivering models at scale (training data and inference volumes) and contributing code/libraries to existing products; demonstrated research impact via publications or projects.
