Key Responsibilities

  • •Check daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer orders.
  • •Ensure every position is filled before start-up of the production line and oversee staffing rotations and morning exercises to support ergonomics.
  • •Ensure machinery and workstations are performing to the highest standards and have passed USDA Inspection.
  • •Ensure accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and proper coding of products; keep records of reworked or returned product.
  • •Promote safety daily and through monthly safety meetings, and provide people leadership through training, retention, and counseling while working with other supervisors to solve production problems.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of manufacturing experience with prior supervisory/lead experience or equivalent education (typically a bachelor’s degree).
  • •Supervise a group of personnel performing related production tasks and activities.
  • •Familiarity with processing-floor operations and knowledge to perform HACCP CCP monitoring/verification (HACCP certification is a plus).
  • •Ability to conduct audits and inspections across production areas, tolerating environmental conditions (28–45 degrees) and physical access requirements.
  • •Strong communication and basic computer skills; high school diploma with additional vocational/college training preferred.
