Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee preparation and creation of instructional technical manuscripts for firmware operation.
  • •Allocate resources and develop detailed plans to complete programming projects and ensure firmware functions properly.
  • •Lead multiple project teams and development partners across all stages of design and development for complex products/platforms.
  • •Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with systems design/development guidelines and standards; provide feedback to improve quality and mitigate failure risk.
  • •Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure integration; specify and document communication protocols, system states, and feature requirements, and mentor less-experienced engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
  • •Typically 7–10 years of work experience, preferably in firmware development or a related field.
  • •Experience in CI/CD and Agile (or equivalent modern development methods).
  • •Knowledge of overall architecture of software/firmware and interaction with hardware/software/OS designs.
  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, including the ability to communicate plans/results to senior management.
