Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform in-process inspections of sewing, stitching, cut parts, and marks to verify conformance using calibrated tools, work orders, and drawings.
  • •Conduct secondary verification of critical work-order operations and perform final inspections of completed soft goods, documenting non-conformances.
  • •Capture inspection photography of hardware and non-conformances as required.
  • •Issue tickets, label nonconforming hardware, track locations, and manage progress to close non-conformances; support the MRB process.
  • •Maintain calibrated tools (tracking and due dates), remove out-of-tolerance equipment from use, disposition OOT items with engineering, and communicate quality issues for corrective action.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, military, or manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience inspecting industrial sewing, stitching, cut parts, or other textiles/soft goods.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications.
  • •Knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, and processes, with experience documenting non-conformances.
