Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor UPW systems, including RO, EDI, UV disinfection, and filtration.
  • •Manage wastewater treatment processes such as neutralization, evaporators, precipitation/clarification, dewatering, and crystallization.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on pumps, valves, sensors, membranes, and control systems.
  • •Conduct daily water quality sampling and analysis (e.g., TOC, silica, metals, conductivity) and maintain data logs.
  • •Respond to alarms and excursions with corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain required system availability.

Key Requirements

  • •High school degree or equivalency certificate.
  • •2+ years of experience in a hands-on technical position OR an associate’s degree in a STEM field.
  • •Strong knowledge of water chemistry and wastewater technologies, including ion exchange and RO/EDI systems.
  • •Proficiency with water quality instrumentation and basic PLC troubleshooting.
  • •Ability to read and understand P&ID and schematic wiring diagrams, and perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
