Job Summary

Design, build, and automate quality processes for new mainframe security products. Ensure top-tier product quality via functional and non-functional test planning, automation scripts, and manual testing from early development through release. Develop maintainable automation using frameworks, execute regression and system testing, and collaborate with developers, QA peers, product, and customer support to validate fixes, reproduce complex issues, and maintain end-to-end coverage across the AMI Security team.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure top-notch product quality through automation and manual testing starting from initial development stages
•Design, develop, and execute functional and non-functional test plans
•Build and maintain automation scripts using automation frameworks for system and regression testing
•Participate in module design with a focus on high-quality, portable, maintainable, standards-compliant software
•Document test results, report defects, track them in Jira, collaborate to validate fixes, reproduce complex scenarios, and support customers

Key Requirements

•10+ years of hands-on QA testing experience with z/OS products
•5+ years of hands-on test automation experience for z/OS products
•Strong experience with TSO/ISPF, SMP/E, SDSF, JES2/3, SMF, JCL, z/OS utilities, and z/OSMF
•Working experience with REXX and Python and strong RACF knowledge
•Hands-on experience with Jenkins and QA automation frameworks such as TPNS, UFT, Selenium, Robot Framework (or similar)
