Job Summary

Organize, plan, and supervise structural drawing documentation, submittals, and schedules in coordination with architecture and MEP works. Produce and review accurate, error-free shop drawings for standard and custom fixtures based on customer-approved submittals. Lead drafting quality checks, maintain drawing records, and coordinate design changes across multidisciplinary teams. Support HSE initiatives and help train junior draftsmen while continuously improving CAD drafting workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•Organize, plan, and maintain structural drawings, submittals, and schedules in coordination with architecture and MEP works.
•Create and review production engineering shop drawings for standard and custom fixtures from customer approved submittals.
•Oversee drafting production tasks including printing, plotting, and distribution to meet project timelines.
•Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate design changes, resolve conflicts, and ensure design coherence.
•Support HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in line with company and IMS policies.

Key Requirements

•Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using CAD based on sketches, specifications, and design requirements.
•Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards, regulations, and project specifications, making revisions as necessary.
•Coordinate drafting activities with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to align with project goals.
•Provide guidance, support, and training to junior draftsmen using best practices to improve team performance.
•Ensure drawings and deliverables meet building codes and regulatory requirements and perform quality checks to identify and correct errors.
