Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee engineering design projects across the UK & Ireland, building project teams with Discipline Leads, Project Managers, and Directors.
  • •Act as a technical project manager for multi-disciplinary design projects, including substations, cables, protection & control, civils, overhead lines, and environmental scopes.
  • •Manage the full lifecycle of design projects from concept to completion, including concept, FEED, environmental assessments, permitting, consenting, planning, cost estimation, and detailed engineering.
  • •Ensure safety, health, environmental, sustainability, and quality standards are met and that submissions comply with codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • •Provide project updates on progress, costs, schedules, procurement, safety/environmental concerns, support proposal preparation and contract negotiations, and review engineering deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified in electrical or power systems engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Transmission & Distribution (or renewables/large infrastructure) design experience across multi-disciplinary scope.
  • •Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-discipline projects and delivering requirements for UK & Ireland clients.
  • •Working experience with National Grid and other TSO projects is advantageous.
  • •Proven client relationship management and business development skills; chartered LCDAE/CDAE certifications are advantageous.
