Job Summary

Receive, store, pick, and distribute materials and products within the facility by reading production schedules, orders, and requisitions. Transport items between receiving/production and designated storage areas, assemble orders onto pallets, and maintain accurate records by using a computer for documentation. Operate certified manual and automated material handling equipment, load/unload trailers, follow safety and hygiene procedures, and support Continuous Improvement initiatives like 5S.

•Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
•Transport materials and products from receiving or production areas to storage and other designated locations.
•Fill requisitions and work orders, assemble customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets, and mark materials with identifying information.
•Operate certified material handling equipment, load and unload trailers, and utilize manual and automated material handling equipment.
•Maintain safety and housekeeping standards, record received/distributed amounts, use a computer to enter records, and support Continuous Improvement initiatives like 5S.
