Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as single product owner for the data engineering family: data platform, analytics, data science tooling, and AI/agentic workflows.
  • •Own and evolve the roadmap—what gets built next, for whom, and why—based on input from operators, machine learning engineers, software developers, analysts, and data users.
  • •Write product specs, KPIs, and success metrics that convert ambiguous requests into scoped, shippable work.
  • •Drive build-vs-buy decisions for BI and analytics tooling and prioritize ways stakeholders can answer their own questions without adding headcount.
  • •Own decisions about new data streams and integration standards, including what “supported” and “correct” mean as tools move from scripts/spreadsheets to production.

Key Requirements

  • •4–8+ years in technical product management, data platform, analytics product roles, or equivalent experience leading cross-disciplinary technical programs.
  • •Comfort being the only PM in a highly technical room—knowing when to drive decisions versus defer to engineers, and building credibility.
  • •Depth in data infrastructure and analytics to earn trust with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts.
  • •Working fluency with the current LLM/foundation-model landscape and where agentic approaches fit versus conventional software.
  • •Ability to prototype hands-on with stakeholders and bring structure to ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end.
