Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and coordinate patient care in an outpatient setting, including educating patients and the public about health conditions.
  • •Assess, reassess, and collect pertinent patient data, and analyze assessment information to guide care.
  • •Develop and evaluate patient care plans with an interprofessional team in collaboration with patients and their family members.
  • •Record vital signs, recognize/address/escalate abnormalities, and maintain patient safety and a safe environment.
  • •Administer medications and treatments, perform essential life support per regulatory requirements, and support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant regulatory health authority and meet required qualifications and experience.
  • •Maintain professional re-licensure.
  • •Have a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
  • •Communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Work within the scope of practice and be willing to work across departments when necessary.
