Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior, practical employment-law advice across the employment lifecycle, balancing legal risk and business objectives.
  • •Advise and draft employment agreements, separation agreements, policies, templates, and documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • •Counsel People Business Partners and business leaders on complex team-member relations, investigations, and employment disputes.
  • •Monitor employment, privacy, and related law changes, identify risks, and translate developments into implementable guidance.
  • •Manage outside counsel matters and lead development of scalable employment-law processes, playbooks, and documentation for Legal and People.

Key Requirements

  • •Substantial experience advising a multinational company with works councils across the employment relationship.
  • •A Juris Doctor (JD), Bachelor of Laws (LLB), or local equivalent, with admission to an applicable governing body in an EMEA jurisdiction.
  • •Deep knowledge of employment compliance requirements across EMEA, including judgment on when local counsel is needed.
  • •Experience counseling People Business Partners and business leaders on sensitive team-member relations matters, investigations, litigation, compensation, and works council strategy.
  • •Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment agreements, separation agreements, and employment policies across multiple jurisdictions.
