Job Summary

Own the radar subsystem calibration process, including schedule, risk, and maturation strategy for radome, RF sensors, and IMU. Develop deep expertise in calibration tools and requirements, document workflows and knowledge-point plans, and partner with program and off-program teams to calibrate seeker subsystems and verify quality. Serve as radar/RF integration subject-matter expert, support lab and field testing, and lead root-cause failure analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the radar subsystem calibration process, including schedule, risk, and maturation strategy for radome, RF sensor, and IMU.
•Develop and apply deep technical understanding of the calibration process, tools, and requirements.
•Document calibration process maturation via workflows and knowledge point plans.
•Coordinate with program and off-program teams to calibrate seeker subsystems and verify calibration quality.
•Support lab/field testing and perform root-cause failure analysis for radar and RF subsystems while serving as radar/RF integration subject-matter expert.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 8 years of relevant flight avionics experience with electrical hardware development, subsystems, systems engineering, and/or requirement validation.
•Experience in developing RF electrical subsystems, radar hardware, or RF seeker architectures.
•Experience in subsystem or systems engineering, requirement development, and validation.
•Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to start date, with U.S. citizenship required.
•Ability to manage thermal, electrical, and microwave physics dependencies and apply them to calibration work.
