Key Responsibilities

  • •Inherit, lead, and mentor a team of 5–6 infrastructure security engineers, diagnosing bottlenecks and elevating to a high-throughput engineering organization.
  • •Build and operate foundational platform security services including identity, secrets, and PKI primitives, workload identity, and secrets-as-a-service across multi-tenant GPU environments.
  • •Deploy and manage eBPF-based security sensors for observability and kernel-level runtime protection across bare-metal and virtualized fleets.
  • •Architect and enforce zero-trust, just-in-time (JIT) access for engineers and operators accessing fleet nodes, hypervisors, and core switches.
  • •Own security posture and IAM by securing control planes across public cloud and on-prem environments, eliminating standing secrets, and performing continuous governance-by-code via IaC.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years leading and scaling software or security engineering teams at hyper-scale cloud providers or infrastructure-intensive platforms.
  • •Experience building core platform security functionality at scale (e.g., Vault, SPIFFE/SPIRE, eBPF sensors, JIT access), not only managing posture tooling.
  • •Proven ability to inherit engineering teams, diagnose execution bottlenecks, reduce friction, and raise technical standards.
